Round balers don't have knotters, they just wrap the twine around the bale and friction holds it on. Your baler may have automatic tie. If it does, it should have a box to go on your tractor that the baler plugs into. It will notify you when its full and then wrap the twine around the bale automatically. If it doesn't have automatic tie, it will have either an electric or hydraulic cylinder that moves the twine arm. You will determine how much twine goes on the roll bale by how you move the arm. Most people wrap it twice on the ends and once at 6 inch increments in between. Every brand of baler is a little different, so if you don't have much experience with roll balers, go to your nearest Gehl dealer and order an operators manual. It will explain exactly how your baler works. Good luck!
