ERTL Pedal Tractor

I found a John Deere-20 pedal tractor model D-65 at a thrift store for $45. It has no front wheels and the front shaft is broken off at the bottom of the "engine" housing. One rear axle is bent, but the pedals drive the rear wheels ok. Paint is fair to good. Are parts available for these? If so, where? Is this a decent buy? I haven't bought it yet. Thanks for input.
