Pepper works all right. When I was a kid, I bought a F-30 with hand brakes, back bout 70. It had a bad radiator leak and some old timer said to put pepper in it, and so Ibought the biggest can of pepper I could and put in it and went to plowing. I did this every year, Had to, and every winter, id have to take a screwdriver with a long shank and pry anx poke the stuff from the drain pipe before it would drain down to where I could put antifreez it. I rather doubrt that I did, as it was impossible to start in Northern Kansas in the wintertime. But I remember that when I had the pepper in the radiator and went out for to plow, that I would sneeze my head off for a hour until it had all sealed.
