Buy a good quality mask rated for dusts and mists that have valves for expiration. This prevents breathing in heated air from your last breath and is much more comfortable for extended wear. Sears sells a good mask with replaceable filters for about $12. Commerical mowing crews use them around here. This mask is also suitable for crop, weed spraying applications.
