Are you sure your belt is on correct and do you have right hand blades going right? Neighbor put left-hand blades on a right hand drive. Another on put them on upside down. Turn mower over with engine shut off and check that all blades are going the same direction. People have over the years got these belts and blades all mixed up. These are very good mowers and a few checks will get you going again.
