If ´´by just leaks down´´ you mean the loader will not power down or the bucket will not curl, I would look at the following, If the loader is plumbed through a loader valve into the remote on the tractor,check the quick connects at the remote.They can pop loose and not let the oil to return to the tractor. If it is plumbed directly into the tractor,I would look at the return line to the tractor to see if it is connected, crushed,or otherwise damaged. If all else fails, remove the return line from the tractor,put it in a bucket and see if the loader will operate,(be carefull) and you have a good flow of oil into the bucket. If you have a good flow, look for a restriction in the tractor, if you don´t have any flow, the hose could be collapsed inside, or you have a problem internally in the valve.
