interesting ideas in that thread, thanks. Yes, a sonotube of about 24" would be a good way to go, for a concrete filled roller. I think i'd want at least 18" diameter. I think 12" would have a tendancy to not roll if the ground is soft. I was thinking an oil drum would be good because I could vary the amount of water, in case it was too heavy for some uses.
