As long as the cords are not cut I have used urethane like the glass installers use to glue in windshiels. Color is black and works in a caulking gun. Cost about $10.00 a tube. Seal it up and store it in the freezer for the next project. Clean up the gash with lacquer thinner and I use sandwich wrap to form it to shape of tire. Good luck.
