shifting

Hello, This is a serious request. I have purchased a new tractor with a syncro transmission. My simple qustion, can the tractor be power shifted under load at a steady rpm ? An example would be down shifting while bailing for the last few raps of hay. Any other comment s or suggestions on the matter would be appreciated ac I would value the insight. Thanks. MF
