Make sure you get tractor properly positioned on trailor. Considering you have a double axel trailor, you would want about 1/3 of the weight of tractor on trailor tongue and 2/3 of the weight of tractor on trailor axels. If you have a bumper trailor, be sure to not exceed the weight limits of the bumper. Make sure you get the tractor either strapped down, or chained and boomered down really good. Might want to retighten everything after driving just a little ways. Might also want to leave tractor transmission in gear and breaks set good while hauling. The law requires a safety chain hooked up for the bumper trailors, and make sure your trailor lights work.
