Brakes on an international 484

I recently purchased an international tractor. It has a 444 hood, but I believe it is really a 484. Everything was working good on it untill I tried the parking brake out while learning what all the levers do. After releasing the brake I could not move the tractor. About the 4th time I eased the clutch out it took off slowly, then picked up speed. I don't seem to have much braking power now. How hard is this going to be to fix?
