Interesting question! Uncertain of the answer - don't know of anyone who's tried it. However I do know that air cell volumes and orifice dimensions are carefully selected to provide optimize fuel spray mixing and to limit the rate of pressure rise (knock) during combustion. Suspect enlarging the power cell opening might: 1 - Effectively increase combustion chamber volume thus lowering compression ratio. End effect could be harder starting, especially when cold; also perhaps slightly reduced fuel economy. 2 - Result in reduced gas velocity out of the cell during combustion, thus reducing combustion turbulence and degrading fuel/air mixing. Expect then less complete combustion (less power, more smoke...) 3 - May result in increased knock - especially under load - from the increased flow rate out of the air cell during combustion.
