First I'd check the hyd fluid level. next, I'd look for a leak/busted hyd hose or line. after that I'd suspect the hyd pump (for output), first after the filter then before the filter.

I assume that this loader is plumbed from a pump that is mounted on the front of the crankshaft??

And the control valves are mounted on the fight hand side of the unit aprox at dash height??

I'd have to look it up, but Im thinking that the number "5" (in 3550) represents industrail model....

I would sa that this loader is capable of lifting a ton all day long. Probably more! mine does....

my neighbors OLD massy fergison lifted one end of the 8000 lb steel storage container, mine had the other end....sl
