I'll have to agree that the 450 seemed a lot more comfortable to sit on. I like everyting about the Mahindra better than the MF except the name. From my limited knowledge the Mahindra looked like a better tractor and it is aprox. $1000 cheaper than the MF ( $11,600 vs. $12,500 for the MF 231 ) I am just worried about buying the Mahindra and being stuck for parts 10 years down the road. Seems like I read on here that Mahindra is the 4th largest tractor maker in the world. If that is true it may suggest that the parts should be available, I don't know. That's my situation--- to buy the tractor I want or the tractor I trust.
