I have a Ford Jubilee that runs fine. It has the orignal 6 volt starting system. It will run just fine and then after a period of time it will just quit like the key was turned off. If I wait sometimes a hour or so and sometimes the next day it will start like it should. When I try to restart it. It seems like the battery is dead although it checks out. It will slowly turn over a time or two and then quit trying to turn over. If I wait a few minutes it will make another febable attempt to start but still not turning strong enough. I have replaced the Carb and Bowl Filters in the gas line. I found the battery clamps were loose, I cleaned and tighten them also the battery was shorting out against the frame when the battery was moving around in the battery shelf. After correcting all these problems the symtoms are still there. Could it be an intermitting battery problem? What should I check next? It is a good running tractor when it runs but you never know how long it will contine to run. Any advise would be appreciated. Bob May
