My clutch just got easier

Would have posted this on the Ford board, but it's a common thing to most tractors I believe so I wanted as many opinions as possible. My Ford 2000 4 cyl gas shifts fine. I just noticed today that the clutch depresses real easy all of sudden. It has very little if any resistance. It does disengage and go through the gears fine. Should I be nursing this thing? I think I should be feeling some resistance on the pedal. What do you think, or what happened?
