I was recently the recipient of a similar "gift". The shaft that runs thru the trip mechanism was frozen solid with rust. Took a lot of heat, and a lot of pounding. Get grease in the zerk as soon as you can. The upright shaft on the tail wheel was also siezed - same solution for that. Hope that helps. Tim
