thanks t bone, i just hadnt ever heard that term before, personaly i think that some of those 1 ton gooseneck rigs are pretty dangerous, towing huge loads with small trucks just to get around the regulations,personaly i would much rather have a good sized truck with real truck brakes, like my ford 600, towing a heavy trailer,but i dont have a cdl yet so i am limited to under 10,000lbs trailer anyhow.
