Yes I have a home built one. Works great. Mine has the pump on the splitter, driven with a PTO shaft. I had to use an idler shaft with a small sprocket on the pump and a larger sprocket on the PTO shaft portion because the pump ( used/free), I had needed engine RPM instead of PTO RPM. It would be simpler to use the type of pump that is designed to run at PTO speed. ie Prince from Northern Hydraulic for example. But mine was free . I like that kind :)
