I used to use mobil one in both the car and pickup, but recently changed to valvoline durablend...only because it is cheaper, being a blend of reg and synthetic oil. My experience with synthetic is good(both for 100% and blends), expecially in less oil leaks from an engine when it is hot. Also, the engine will crank over easier in winter(nothern wisc.), and you get oil pressure faster in winter. With mobil one, I used to change oil every 12k, on engines over 100k miles, but with durablend I only go every 6-7k between changes..my vehicles do not see tough driving...mostly highway miles.
