Buy a fairly new tractor, and as you won't be doing your own repairs, don't buy an old tractor that you "WILL" have to tinker with to keep it running good. I'd look for a late model "utility" tractor of about 40 plus hp.. Don't buy a Chinese, or Russian built tractor. Make sure the tractor has live power, power steering, and a 3 point hitch. Forget a plow and a disc, and buy a 3 point rototiller for the tractor. If your ground has stones or other tough conditions, spend the extra $$ for a Howard brand rototiller. In sand, a cheaper brand probably ?? will hold up "ok"? Don't get talked into the first tractor you see, look around and see what's available in your area. Robert
