You'll get as many answers as there are farmers. Here are some considerations;
How much do you want to spend?
What dealers are near (you'll need parts and service from time to time)
What's available in your area?
I like IH, and a 424 is a dandy outfit. Not too pricey and is real handy. But a JD 2010 is also.
