It seems the modern user wants wide front, 3-point hitch, low profile, and small in size. Alot of small property owners and suburbanites are wanting a lawn and garden tractor. The H doesn't fit any of this where as the little Fords, Farmall A's and Cubs, Massey Harris Poney, and tractors of alike do. Those tractors can be stored in a typical car garage and are easier to transport. The H is a smooth running good tractor to operate and is pretty durable. It is a little big to be considered a lawn and garden tractor, and is more of a small field tractor. You can put it in a car garage but you have to shorten the exhaust pipe and duck down when driving it under the door and it takes up more space in the garage. You have to have a larger trailor to haul it on and it probably weighs more than any of those smaller tractors. I got two H's, I like them both and am not ready to get rid of either of them any time soon. I got a loader on one, and the other I use for light farm work (raking hay, pulling wagons, and so on). I use to have an 8N but sold it. Couldn't afford to keep it for what those little devils are selling for. I just wasn't getting $3500 worth of good out of that little 8N. The H's keep paying for themselves over and over again. $800 invested in one, and around $1000 in the other.
