Sounds like you have an open center vale. It basicaly dumps all the oil back to the resivoir untill a valve is open. There may be a power beyond port on the main valve. that would give you the pressure you need. If not you will need to get a proportion (maybe priority) valve to split the flow. You could do it with a manual type valve but that would be a pain to switch while using. Good Luck Don
