FORD-4400 DISTRIBUTOR 1965/ DID YOU KNOW???

I have a 1965 ford 4400 and I have been trying to buy a tune-up kit.I have purchased 2 different kits over the internet and neither one fit my tractor.My distributor is a mallory YL711A/new holland F0NN12100AA and here's the kicker; the points,cap and rotor will no longer fit this distributor.The points and rotor and cap was changed to a cap with 6 terminals (3 are plugged),the points are smaller and the timing is different then that specified in the repair manual.If you buy an older repair kit for this distributor it will not fit.Just thought I would pass this along.
