Yes, I've found the same behavior at our local JD dealer. I deal in very old iron with some green on it yet, however, their interest is in only new (at the counter behavior). I'm lucky, however, to have a nephew at another dealership in the state who will look up the older models stuff in books and check with the company reps in an attempt to help and maybe make a sale. Also, one of the "deskers" lads at the local "counter" will sometimes take the time to retrieve from the archives pictures of the parts I'm seeking and then I can go about the yards with a picture and/or numbers. The JD of old will never be the same. More money in gardens and lawns. Too many small farmers gone by the wayside.
