You've been led down the primrose path by that "respected publication" you refer to. Do you think that Deere quit building model 50 tractors like yours just because the way the records were kept were changed for the 1954 model year? Like a number of people I've known in this hobby, you've arranged the "facts" to suit yourself, and now you actually believe your own BS. If anyone has been rude to you here, you've brought it on yourself.
