i still pull a 1974 shelby 8by20 goose neck trailer and both axles are toward the rear for weight on the load you carry. i have hauled farm machinery big bales of hay scrap iron appliances and trash on this trailer since i brought it in 1980, and still use it today for everything that needs hauled.
