Randy, I'm assuming that when you say prarie grass you mean original "tall grass" prarie species as in before the praries were broke. If so please re-post with your results, as from what I've read burning is the prefered method and mimics the way weeds were controled by wild fires etc. There were several articles in the press a couple of years ago about using "tall grass" species as better grazing now that rotational grazing is making a comeback.
