Your truck tires will give a bit better floatation in snow or mud. They will not tear up sod much. And they were cheap. :)

On the other hand you won't be able to steer worth a lick in mud & snow, and cultivating row-crops you will have less control of persice driving. The ribs dig in & give much better steering control in difficult condions.

You'll be fine with the truck tires, unless you find yourself wanting better steering in slick stuff.
