I have the opportunity to purchase a Massey Ferguson 124 Baler in real good condition and I was wondering how good these balers are. This one appears to be real tight and has a nice paint job. What should I look for and watch out for? What were the weak points of these balers? What years did they make this model? At the present I have a New Holand 276 that the dealer during the Winter Special Tune-up said that it would cost a bunch to repair it and? that I should come out and go through the inspection list with a salesman present. Now why would they want a salesman present to go over a inspection list. Anyway, I'm not one to do deals with dealers on used equipment with mine in their shop. I'll see what it needs and pull it home and figure the worth of it myself. Does anyone know how the MF-124 compares to the NH-276? Thanks In Advance! Ernie Bob
