The Ditmars-Hudson 'Alberta Special' was a troublesome tractor. Built only in 1933 in Calgary, it used a surplus WWI British tank engine for power. Neither the mfg or the buyers knew that the Germans has sabotaged them. Quicky, the tractor became unsaleable and the owners left Canada for the Soviet Union and later designed the Belorus tractor.
