From my experience the Olympus C2100 ultrazoom cannot be beat! Features like a 10x OPTICAL zoom (not digital zoom...), optical image stabilization (can shoot at high zoom magnifications without a tripod), outstanding low light performance, long battery life and overall simplicity of use make it ideal for tractor shows, pulls, etc. The camera is also robust - the lens zoom mechanism is totally enclosed (unlike most other long zoom cameras) so it not bothered the inevitable dust, etc. at tractor shows.

This C2100 is only 2 meg resolution camera. However it makes outstanding enlargements to 8 x 10 and larger. And being a 2 meg camera it doesn't fill up memory cards as fast as higher resolution cameras.
