I've got a neighbour who is into the digital camera thing and I gotta admit that he takes some nice photos. One of the down sides is that he can't seem to decide which shots to print so he seems to print most or all of them and as a result things get a bit expensive (for the good quality photo copy paper). Mind you, a guy doesn't have to do this. As for myself, I don't think you can beat the older models of 35mm cameras like the Pentax K1000. There are some settings to do but the results are almost always good if you use it enough to get used to it. Because my wife doesn't like those settings, we use a $100 generic brand 35mm plastic job and I never seem to get consistent results, but processing costs for prints are cheap.
