Howdy. I learned a hard lesson on hearing protection from my grandad who worked with old tractors all his life. All the years I can remember, he used hearing aids and couldn't hear real well. I make it a point that if I'm going to be out for a prolonged period of time on my old John Deere I always wear protection for my ears. I usually just use plain old ear plugs. Sure does cut down on headaches and hopefully keeps my hearing in tact. God bless. --old fashioned farmer
