judging from your question I would say safety should be considered very seriuosly. Do not run a brush hog on this tractor without an override clutch. These are the devices that will not allow the brush hog to push you once you have stopped- yes the tratcor will move even with the clutch pushed in if you don't have the ORC. Another thing to keep in mind is that people are killed often times mowing in orchards due to a low branch knocking them off the machine. I can think of at least three people in my area that this has happened to- none in the last 30 years but it has happened just the same. Shear pins should break before anything essential so I wouldn't worry about that. The tractor will bog if you get in too deep but if you hit a tree or rock the pin should shear. Most importantly be careful and outfit yourself with an ORC before you get the bug to start clearing.
