A rowcrop tractor can still be equiped with a wide front end. My Farmall Super M is a row crop machine but has a wide front end which is very common in potato country. Potatoes are still a row crop.
Your thinking of standard or wheatland tractors, which also tend to be shorter in height and length. Most narrow front end tractors can be converted to wide front and the opposite is true of wfe row crop machines.
