I agree with Don, an MD is a very good tractor, just make sure you let it cool down before you shut down. This goes with any tractor, as with Don get an operators manuel from IH/Case dealer an read it front to back. I have a couple of WD9 that people say the same about, ie heads an head gaskets go bad, but the only reason they go bad is not taking care of the equipment properly.
