Did I understand that you had a 25hp motor you tried? I'm in the same boat as you except that I need an intake manifold for mine(The previous owner used it as a parts vehicle). I have a 25hp Kohler that will fit but I'm not sure of the reduced hp.Maybe I should keep looking for parts?I know you can still buy them but they want an arm and a leg new. I did find a complete parts manual on the internet that I was able to download for the Wisconson.
