The wheels should be nearly parallel when straight ahead; maybe 1/8" to 1/4" "toe-in". As the wheels turn the inner wheel will steer progressively sharper than the outer. This is normal and necessary as the inner wheel is describing a smaller circle than the outer wheel. I first got interested in steering gears when I was about 12 years old and built a toy 4 wheel wagon to hook to my toy tractor. When I was about 20, I built my own garden tractor and "played around" with the steering geometry 'til I got it to steer without "scrubbing" the tires. You will notice that the steering arms (elbows)are not quite parallel with the wheels, but instead, tip in toward the center of the tractor. This angle is what gives each wheel it's required individual turning arc as the tractor is making a turn. Other than "toe-in", I don't think much "alighnment" can be made to a tractor front-end except maybe to correct bent pieces in the steering gear. The inner wheel on my wide front WD-45 turns almost parallel with the axle in a tight turn giving it almost the turning radius of my narrow front WD.
