Ny dad had a 504 gas wide front row crop.

nice for cultivating and had an independant PTO. Front end was light for loader work but the hyd system was strong.

It did have a high speed (for a tractor)non-sleved engine. HP was in the Super M range but it didn't have the same lugging power. I wouldn't even consider a 4 bottom for it. I guess 3-12's would be ok but think 2-16's is probably a better choice.
