Hello John, I bought this trailer last fall for $1,300. It is a 1993 Talbert. It has a 23' platform plus a 2' beaver tail with a overall length of 28 feet. GVWR 22,000 pounds. Over all width 102" (82" between fenders) and 24" platform height empty. We have made repairs to it this winter including a new paint job. We have around $3000 invested including purchase cost. Keep in mind the type of tractor you are going to be hauling. This trailer can haul a lot of weight (18,000 pounds) but not wide tractors. If you are planning to haul a Farmall F-20 for example you need to have a deckover trailer that is at least 96" wide. Dave Olson - East-Central Illinois

12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
