I saw a situation where the auctioneer did the same thing, had his workers bid up the prices. Come to find out the guy working for the Auction co. that was the high bidder did not pay. instead they told the family that hired them, the items sold for a little of nothing. We notified the family and the local police got involved in the case. All of the items that were won by the auction company were given back to the family, and sold them out-right. By the way, this auction Co. lost its license. The family or company that hires the auctioneers will need to file the complant, not a bidder.
