Most fire damage in shops or homes or what ever is usally not fire but water damage. same with tractors. just think about atractor that is not quite red hot and dunking it in water.
OKay that having been said some I have seen were fine some were not some were warped some were not. on a 400 ford I changed valve springs and gaskets ran another 100,000 miles
