Yes, those NOS Jeeps, built by Ford. In '66, the
Government was purging forgotten inventory, by
sealed bids. The Jeeps were never assembled, in
quanity(Ten per lot?). Buyers kept losing their
bid deposits, as the Jeeps were in need of a ride
from foreign ports, where stored. The deal just
didn't work, as shipping costs kept lowering the
bidding pool. Where are they now, who knows...
