My experience has been that the sudden demise of a hydraulic system more often than not has been due to the suction line collapsing on the inside. These are on systems which were add-ons and where the suction line is a hose of some sort. It is nice when it is something as easy as a bad pressure relief or maybe a pressure line loose or broken somewhere that it leaks back into the reservoir. It would be a shame to sell something for several hundred dollars less for a tens of dollars problem.
