Look at the parts links at the upper part of this page for kits. Why were you advised to change it to 12 volts? If it is in working order, I'd let it stay 6 volts. If it's not, it's probably cheaper to fix the existing charging system than it would be to convert it. A Super C shouldn't have any trouble working just fine on 6 volts. If you need a good description of the conversion process, click on the "Articles" link at the left and read "A Step-By-Step 12 Volt Conversion" By Bob M. It'll give all the info you should need.
