Look at the parts links at the upper part of this page for kits.
Why were you advised to change it to 12 volts? If it is in working order, I'd let it stay 6 volts. If it's not, it's probably cheaper to fix the existing charging system than it would be to convert it. A Super C shouldn't have any trouble working just fine on 6 volts.
