Go to the junk yard and get you a GM/Delco 10SI alternator. Then go to your local automotive parts store and see if they have the diode pigtail already built up with a plug on it. That's where I get mine anyway. Do a search of the archive on this website (YT) for 12v conversion and you should be in business. Have fun.----deadeye
