I have an 1863 with 18 hp kohler. The hydros hold up really well on Cubs. I also have a 105 that's got to be 25-28 years old and still running fine. It's hard to find a better engine than Onan, but I didn't know Cummins owned them back in 95. I was cutting 5.5 acres with the 105 until I got the 1863 5 years ago.
