I switched from several different tractors, mowers, lawn tractors, to a Grasshopper 721-D zero turn mower, and i can tell you it cut my mowing time in half!! If you don't have anything to go around like buildings, fences, trees, it may not cut your time in half, but it will still be a lot faster with a zero turn!
My mower has huge spindles and berrings in the deck, very heavy deck metal and are really built to last. It will be the last mower i'll ever have to buy, and it rides better than any tractor i've ever used!! That's important to me, as i have back problems.
The Grasshoppers are build very well, and like mine can be had with a Kubota diesel, or they offer several other engine choises. Personally, i think the Kubota diesel is worth the $$ on a lifetime mower! They also have snow plows, snowblowers, cabs, power brushes, ect.. for them.
You can buy a GH with a 72" mowing deck, and all the attachments go on and off easily!
I keep saying it, i'll NEVER go back to a tractor-wanna-b-mower to cut grass with again!
